Dream Event
Mirkwood
For almost all of Legolas' life, Mirkwood was plagued by a darkness cast upon them by Sauron and his servants, the Nazgul. Giant spiders and Orcs inhabit the darker parts of the forest while the Elves inhabit what parts them can and live as cheerfully as possible in the Halls of the Elvenking. Legolas would often assist the the guard in taking care of any creatures that wandered too close to where they dwell. He suffered enough injuries over the years that his father would eventually find excuses to keep him from joining the hunts. In this dream, it will be Legolas going out to clear away some nasty giant spiders, possibly getting bit by one and summarily paralyzed and needing rescue.
Fellowship of the Ring
Legolas was sent to Rivendell by his father, Thranduil, to relay a message to Aragorn and Elrond that Gollum had escaped them. He ended up sitting in on a meeting regarding what should be done with the Ring than Frodo had brought into Elrond's home, argued among the races represented, went to Aragorn's defense when Boromir was being a jerk and ended up offering his skills when the Fellowship was founded.
Mines of Moria
The mines were frightening, even to an elf who lived with Sauron as his next door neighbor for most of his life. Even moreso after the recklessness of Pippin awoke all the beasts that lived there and drew them to the Fellowship, forcing them into battle and to a scare that Frodo was slain by a cave troll. And even worse yet when the Balrog awoke and came for them, Gandalf appearing to die in the flight across the Bridge of Kazad Dum.
Celebrating
A typical elven party held in Mirkwood. There are dozens and dozens of Elves singing and dancing around a large fire, plenty of food and wine to share and they're all enjoying themselves. A fair hair man, who looks much like Legolas, sits nearby with a crown of leaves upon his head to match the season and Legolas is never far.
Helm's Deep
The Battle of the Hornburg. Only a couple thousand Men, young and old, against an army of ten thousand Orcs and Uruk Hai (mostly Uruk Hai). It took over a week and so many lives were lost. It was thanks to Gandalf and the Rohirrim that the tide was turned in their favor and they were able to defend Helm's Deep. Throughout this, Gimli and Legolas held a competition on who could kill more Orcs.Gimli won. It was a tie.
Crowning of King Elessar (Aragorn)
In Gondor, Legolas observed Aragorn being crowned as King Elessar, Lord of Gondor and was witness to the wedding between Arwen and Aragorn. It was truly one of the most peaceful times he can remember, cementing in the Golden Age of Men.
Drinking Games
Thanks to Eomer, Legolas and Gimli had a drinking contest in Edoras after the battle of Helm's Deep and the death of Saruman. Elves are very fond of wine but seem to never turn down any alcohol that is offered to them, apparently never turning away any type of booze. And Elves are said to be able to best Dwarves in drinking contests, no matter what type of alcohol. Legolas proves to be one such Elf capable when Gimli passes out and he barely feels a tingling in his fingers.
Tower of Animus: Death 1
Legolas was slain by Ganondorf on the Cathedral floor just before the first meeting among the villains of the tower. Despite the friendly words Legolas gave him when parting, it seemed Ganon still held a grudge about the Elf insulting his music and shadows. So they fought and, sadly, Ganon had the upper hand that time and stabbed a sword through Legolas' chest and left him there to die. His pool of blood made for... interesting ambiance for that meeting.
